Outlet and switch replacement is a common, straightforward electrical service—simply swapping out an existing switch or outlet typically costs less because it involves labor for removal and installation only. Installing new outlets or switches, however, requires additional work such as running wiring, cutting and patching drywall, adding boxes, and ensuring code-compliant circuit capacity, which increases material and labor costs. Because each job can vary based on location, box accessibility, conduit or wiring needs, and any required permits or panel upgrades, we provide a detailed estimate before starting work to outline scope, timeline, and final pricing.

Installing a new or existing ceiling fan: work includes assessing and verifying the existing electrical box and support for fan-rated mounting, disconnecting and removing the old fixture if present, installing or reinforcing a fan-rated mounting box or brace as needed, making all wiring connections per code (including grounding), securing the fan canopy and blades, installing any remote or wall control devices provided, and testing operation and balance. Job scope excludes major ceiling reconstruction, circuit upgrades, or new dedicated circuits unless specified; additional labor or materials may be required for dimmer/remote integration, vaulted ceilings, fan/light kit upgrades, structural reinforcement, or resolving noncompliant wiring, and increased complexity may raise the overall cost.
